Surrender/ Servant

Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. Galatians 1:10

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

While finally taking the opportunity to slow down after excitement the Christmas Season brings, I can’t help but reflect on how God has been working in my life in 2023. From a renewal & revival to His leading and guidance, God has shown me a few key things I eagerly take into 2024.

1. There is no more important time in history than now to be making sure we are living for and serving God as well as winning others to Him.

2. God has placed within me a strong understanding that the time is now for those who left the church to come back and for the church to experience revival.

3. God desires “The Church” to be in a place of strength now more than ever.

4. I have a calling on my life. We all do. God has given me certain gifts and abilities and He wants me using them. It is my full desire to use them only to His glory.

5. There is freedom in total surrender.
