How will you Devote 2Day?
Scriptural Inspiration, Uplifting Community, and Encouragement for Real People Facing Real Life
Devote2Day is all about bringing together everyday people to share testimonies, provide encouragement, and inspire hope centered around the powerful and trustworthy Word of God. I’m wearing my heart on my sleeve hoping we can inspire each other as I hope you’ll share your heart, too.
23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way.
24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the LORD upholds him with His hand.
25 I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread.
26 He is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed.
Psalm 37:23-26
NKJV
Hi, I’m Lori.
I’m so excited to welcome you to the Devote2Day community. Let me tell you a bit about myself and what you can expect here.
I’ve always had a heart for God’s people. Growing up as the daughter of a retired pastor, faith has always been a big part of my life. For over 20 years, I’ve worked in the senior healthcare industry, which has been an amazing journey. I’ve had the incredible privilege of spending time with so many seniors who’ve shared their stories and wisdom with me. Their experiences have given me even deeper insights into what it means to follow Jesus.
I graduated with a major in Communications – Radio, and a minor in Christian Education. God has used that combination to foster this community online. Here in our community, you’ll find a mix of podcasts, devotionals, and general reflections. My hope is that through these outlets, we will all grow in our faith together. Whether you’re tuning in to a podcast episode, reading a devotional, asking for prayer, or sharing your story, I hope you’ll feel inspired, supported, and more connected to God’s love.
I’m looking forward to walking this journey with you!
